You've come to Oahu and you're looking to get out and explore. Our beautiful island offers a wide range of natural, educational and cultural experiences that will be fun for the entire family. I've put together some of my favorites here. Please get in touch with any questions, recommendations or if you'd like to set up a tour. We offer incredible, private adventure tours that are fully customizable.
Visit the Bishop Museum - explore Hawaii’s rich history and culture through engaging exhibits and interactive displays. The Bishop Museum is Hawaii’s largest museum dedicated to the history and culture of the islands. It’s a great way for the whole family to learn about the island’s heritage and gain an appreciation for it's history.

Explore Waimea Valley and Falls - On the North Shore of Oahu, near one of the worlds most famous surf breaks at Waimea Bay you will find the Waimea Valley Botanical Gardens. Home to a wide variety of plant species from around the world, this is a nature lovers must stop. Surrounded by lush, tropical scenery, the waterfall is a stunning spot for a family hike and a refreshing dip in the water.

Ring the Gong at the Byodo Inn Temple - The Byodo-In Temple is a stunning, 950-year-old replica of a Japanese temple located in the Valley of the Temples with the Koolau Mountains set as the backdrop. It’s a peaceful place, perfect for families to explore. Kids will love ringing the traditional gong and feeding the friendly birds and fish that inhabit the temple grounds. It’s also home to a graceful black swan, adding to the tranquil and picturesque environment. Visiting the temple offers a calming and interactive cultural experience to enjoy with your loved ones.

Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay - Formed from a collapsed volcano, it is one of Oahu's most popular snorkeling spots and has been a protected marine sanctuary since 1967. It’s a fantastic place for families and snorkelers to explore tropical fish, turtles, and underwater ecosystems in calm, clear waters. It's also a great place to learn about marine life conservation efforts and the importance of protecting coral reefs. Don't forget to make a reservation in advance through the Hanauma Bay website, as the number of visitors is limited to not only preserve the beauty but protect the fragile coral reef ecosystem

Visit Kualoa Ranch - Located on the Windward side of Oahu, Kualoa Ranch was the film site for many movies, most famously much of Jurassic Park. The incredibly scenic ranch offers tons of outdoor adventures like horseback riding, zip-lining, ATV tours, and jungle excursions. With its combination of outdoor fun, cultural history, and incredible landscapes, Kualoa Ranch provides a memorable and immersive experience for the whole family.
